I have an inlaw that comes close to conniption fit if anyone speaks of the Powerball lottery.

She equates it with human sacrifice.

And of course ,as you know I purchase four tickets a month.

Well, a year ago I came close to her committing her self for a 60 day evaluation

Not only did the lottery subject come up , but firearms came up as well Eek

Some one asked which guns I would purchase, and I mentioned 20 ,
Right off the bat.

A look of terror came across her face, as if all of her son's had gone missing.

It was then that I was made aware of her irrational fear and loathing if guns.

I'm obsessed with mechanical wristwatches. Stuck in this rut for a few decades. No saving me now. Hell... Even I think it's a waste of time.

I make coffee with a French press, using water boiled in a kettle and beans freshly ground from whole.

(When I have time, at least. Some mornings it's a Keurig cup brewed into a travel mug on the way out the door, purely as a caffeine delivery mechanism.)
