BassamaticI don't want that snow but sure am looking forward to the end of our summer weather. Most of the mid-west is still dealing with these upper 80's and low 90's temps. To hell with that.

WoodmanSooooo ... camping with a 3-season tent north of Stryker (Dickey Lake) late August into late September is definitely not happening next year!
When do I want to plan my exit?

lizardman_uWe have snow in the mountains around us, and snow closed HWY 26 around Mt Hood.
Here at our 320 feet above sea level we just had a bit of rain.
We don't get much snow down here, but when the temperatures drop we will get icy roads.
We also are getting our fall winds (25+ mph sustained).

Jimbo54We had measurable snow (1 1/2 in.) on Saturday and that is the first time since 1926 for September. Our first freeze also happened that day.

I'm not ready for this shit. Winter 2 months earlier than normal is very depressing.
