Morning SIGform! My best friend since college has always wanted an Italian Stiletto knife. His family is from Italy and its just something he has always wanted. I have tried and tried to find a HIGH Quality one, but all I seem to find looks like cheap trash to me. The best one I found was a Kershaw Launch 8, but that's not really a true Italian Stiletto. Does such a thing exist anymore or should I just get the Launch 8? Thanks in advance! ---------- “Nobody can ever take your integrity away from you. Only you can give up your integrity.” H. Take a look at the ProTech Don or Godfather. I have a number of ProTechs, including a Godfather, and they are first rate. http://www.protechknives.com

I've bought a bunch of knives from Arizona Custom Knives (which is a knife store with a huge inventory from factory knives up to high end customs). One of the nicest things about them is they keep all their listings of past inventory up on their website. Searching "stiletto" brings up about 10 current listings (including what looks like a few nice Italian stilettos), but over 300 sold listings. https://www.arizonacustomknive...ch/?keyword=Stiletto Obviously, you can't buy any of the already sold listings - but I have found this to be a GREAT way to discover manufacturers or knives or variants I like that I can then track down somewhere else if AZCK doesn't have any in stock. Even if they don't have what you're looking for in their current inventory, looking through the sold listings might help you find a manufacturer you like that you can then find somewhere else.

Last I looked, AGA, AKC, and Frank B. were the three big “mid-tech” stiletto makers. The real difference between the three was blade grind shapes. All three are batch oriented. This means that you might have to wait for the combination of size, lock, blade, length, and handle to get shipped over and hit retailers.

I gave a friend who has a few Microtech Knives. For a stiletto style knife, they’re pretty cool. https://microtechknives.com/ The “lol” thread

Those are proper Italian Stilettos. The only link so far on this thread that got it right.
