Raised Hands Surround Us Three Nails To Protect Us |
My boy is very pale and light haired. He is 4 and had is first eye exam today to rule out actual eye issues before his neurology appointment. The Dr. was getting ready to dilate his eyes and this came to my mind. Link to original video: https://youtu.be/vaCI48KHW1k I asked the Dr. if she had seen Village of the Damned and she had not. But everything checked out and his eyes aren’t the problem. So we mark another thing not being the cause of the issues. Going on 2 years to multiple specialists in different states with no explanation. Colonoscopy found a huge polyp and that was removed that helped one set of symptoms but everything else remains. So we keep pushing on. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand. If you see me running try to keep up |
I got my first glasses (and first eye dilation) in the second grade. I should have had glasses in the first grade. I despise eye dilation and after 43 years you’d think technology would have advanced to where eyes do not need to be dilated. Hate to see a young child with problems requiring so many things that only adults should be going through. | |||

The annual dilation really sucks but I'm told it's the only way the Doc can see all of your retina. What they don't tell you is that, just like the drops that dilate you, they have a drop that un-dilates you. My last optometrist was a friend that would give these to me if I asked. He said they were generally used for law enforcement, first responders, fire and other docs that needed to see. They burnt like crazy but worked. I'm sorry if I hurt you feelings when I called you stupid - I thought you already knew - Unknown ................................... When you have no future, you live in the past.
