A friend of mine had this company Miracle Method come and refinish his tiled pink and black 1950's bathroom in a gray and white and he really liked it and says it's holding up well. They did his tub, all the tiled walls and floor for $2,200. Bath Fitter wanted $5,500 just to re-do his tub.

We are in the same boat, have a master bath that is circa 1951 UGLY brown and yellow tile but the bathroom itself is in pristine condition. We don't have 10-15 grand to gut the thing and start over and I thought I'd get the tile painted, new vanity/sink to replace the pedestal sink and just scrape and paint all the wallpapered wall sections and ceiling. Toilet was already replaced a few years back.

Has anyone ever used them? Reviews online seem overall pretty good and my friend told me they show you what to use and how to clean it, obviously no more scouring pads and abrasive/harsh cleaners.

Just wondering if it's worth it? Seems to beat the alternative of busting out all that tile.

Watching as well.. I’d considered it in the past, but couldn’t get anyone close enough.

Yep, it gives me flashbacks to Opie Taylor Senior and the "Miracle Salve".

I would want to hear from customers who have had the process for several years. It is one thing to let someone paint regular walls and ceilings versus letting them paint over tile. If the so-called experts mess it up, there is no way you will be able to fix it yourself and could be very expensive in the long run.

We used someone a long time ago that recoated our beige tub into a white tub. He did not do the tiles.

As I recall it was called Cott Coating but I could not find any notes on it in my computer.
