To date, there have been- apparently- 70-something cases of the FBI entrapping mentally deficient people into attempting to commit terrorist acts, with most- and in most cases all- of the orchestration leading up to culmination before arrest, being done by the FBI.
Probably the most prominent of these cases involves the "Newburgh Four" who were entrapped into what has become known as the 2009 Bronx terrorism plot. In 2014 HBO aired the documentary The Newburgh Sting
"How could you come into our community and prey on these damn fools?"
Well, three of these four guys are getting out of prison, and the federal judge who has ordered their release lambasts the FBI.
So, this is the FBI, gentlemen and ladies. This is what they do. They manufacture crimes, then arrest the imbeciles who manage to get caught up in these stings (and who- if you look at the facts in evidence- are incapable of actually committing the crimes of which they are accused), who are then tried, convicted and sentenced to lengthy terms in prison, and the net effect on the safety of the United States is nothing.
It would be bad enough if the FBI was useless, but it's far worse than that. The FBI is the enemy of the American people and it creates a vacuum in the space in which this nation desperately needs an effective, highly competent and - as much as is humanly possible- unbiased and politically neutral agency to guard the sovereignty of the United States.
We need gold, and instead, we get pure shit.

If the FBI can’t be reformed it must be disbanded.
I’d love to see Mike Flynn made their new director under a DOJ led by DeSantis in the next Trump administration. We need a ruthless house cleaning/firing/disbanding of multiple agencies.

Cleaning house would entail removing five or six levels of personnel at least. I guess it would be easier to assign duties to the US Marshals and abolish the FBI with directives all members could never hold a government position. Then turn focus to the other three letter agencies.
