5.9 Earthquake near Dayton NV ***FALSE ALARM***

08:06 Pacific. Just received an alert of a preliminary 5.9 shaker near Dayton, NV (about 12 miles from Carson City).

Was ready to drop, cover, and hold on, but didn't feel anything here.

Turns out this was a false alarm triggered by a system glitch. Was wondering why the listing on the USGS site disappeared soon after posting.

Was a concern as the Bay Area has been rattled by numerous small quakes in the past few weeks.
