These days it seems good customer service is incredibly hard to find, so I thought I'd give a shout out to Sylvania (the light bulb folks).
In January, I replaced my headlamps with a rather expensive pair ($62) of their best halogen bulbs. I've been very pleased with them, but the left one just blew.
The website says they warranty them for 12 months, so I figured I might as well ask. I mostly expected some sort of coupon or prorated discount.
I filled out the warranty claim online and submitted it this morning. By 10:30 I had a response asking me to confirm my mailing address and by 1:00, I had a confirmation that a new set of bulbs had shipped and will arrive on Wednesday.
Nicely done, Sylvania!
