Merry Christmas to all!

If you are like me you probably have traditional meals you fix for Christmas. Let’s see what everyone is eating today!

For us, Christmas breakfast was waffles with bananas and pecans and a side of bacon

No pictures yet. The two-pound ribeye should be done in six minutes, the potatoes are on "hold warm" in the Ninja, so my work is almost finished.

Mrs. V-Tail is handling the fresh asparagus, and we just ate the shrimp (not kosher Eek) along with a glass of bubbly.

We're going to the Cardinals game against the Colts so we're doing our "Christmas Dinner" tomorrow. Honey Baked Ham, Turkey on the Yoder Smoker and all the fixins. Can't wait. Today was Brats on the Komodo Joe.

Merry Christmas to all Sigforum families.

How are you taking it? This is our 2nd Christmas without my Dad. He is missed very much, lived with us for his last 18 months.

He loved when I did Rib Roast for Christmas dinner. Would always slip me some cash to buy a larger one for the leftovers. Past few years have been 18-20 pounders.

This year was probably the smallest ever, only about 11 pounds. Sure was good though, he would have enjoyed it.

Unconventional, but very enjoyable supper...

We had dear friends from our rescue group over for a long and relaxing evening of cooking and conversation.

Pizza from scratch, three kinds. Prime ribeye salad, rare. Tapas, six varieties. Four kinds of cheese. Beer, wine, etc. Espresso with sambuca. Chocolate cake. Chocolate truffles. Lots and lots of conversation.

Merry Christmas, y'all Smile

2 pound Ribeye steak done reverse sear, some asparagus, Kalamata olives and pita bread.
Turned out great and I ate it all unfortunately.
Food hangover today.

Not a Christmas dinner, but it was biscuits and gravy for brunch followed by beef stew for dinner. Stew was perfect.

Well, I just realized that I didn’t take pics of our full mealtime spread, but here are elements of it: homemade sweet potato casserole and mashed potatoes from the 25th, and even some simple Pilsbury orange rolls (distinctly not homemade haha) from breakfast either the 24th or 25th.

For the first time in 22 years, I didn't cook the Prime rib. Took all of the worry off my shoulders! My B-I-L cooked 2 -one Souse vide, and one regular style. Both turned out perfect!! Twas a wonderful dinner for 22 of us!!! Sorry, didn't even think of taking pictures.
