I decided to try Truth Social about two months ago. I signed on so like this site I could get additional trustworthy information as I don't trust the fake news media. I got to tell you it's too much crap to wade through. It's full of Jesus freaks, medical quackery, and other useless advertising. You can't get to the next post without all the junk. Ad blockers don't work because they are posts not ads. The forum format is a mess. It's unlike 99% of the other forums on the net. Just wondered if anyone else felt the same about it.

I signed up initially but never used it. Glad I don't miss much. Don't have accounts with Twitter, effbook or any other social media, either. SIGforum, plus a few news sites...just keeping my life simple.

Even Twitter is filled with garbage ads and "recommended posts" that I find useless. I stopped using it again after having left it when Trump was kicked off but then renewing my account after Elon bought it. The only social media site I find tolerable to any degree is Instagram.

Honestly, just go here/maybe some other forums on stuff you’re interested in.

(Well, I watch cooking stuff on YouTube/deal with IG/FB groups for work)

But, really, other than forums, when have you thought “I got so much out of the time I invested in social media.”

You can say bad words on Truth Social, which is very satisfying.

I use it to follow President Trump.

I follow a few people and spend most of my time on threads of people I follow.

I do post pictures of my dogs in the dog group.

The only reason I ever got twitter was to follow President Trumps tweets and get a good laugh…
