I strongly disagree with this assertion. Though I loathed Barry the Wonder Putz, he was far brighter and more polished, and could reach people toward the center. Without a sizable chunk of the independent vote, no Dem has a chance of winning. IMO Kamala can't reach that group like Barry did. As a matter of fact, she even annoys the hell out of two of my wife's most liberal, wingnut, friends. I'll agree she is someone to watch, but I do not believe she'll make the final cut when the time comes. And if she did, Trump and his machine would destroy her.
