So I just crawled out from under my rock to discover this Beretta ~ the Beretta 93R 'Raffica'.
Very interesting and very cool:

I remember the Beretta ads in the old Soldier Of Fortune magazines when I was a kid. They always had 93R in them. I also think I saw one on Gunbroker once. John Travota’s character in Broken Arrow used one. I always thought they were cool. Now I can see it is actually functional. Sweet.

Thanks for the video!!

This gun also appeared in Natural Born Killers.

The POV cafe massacre was looking down the sights of one. I always wondered what the wierd thing poking out of the dust cover was (the SMG grip folds up).

Damn cool looking.

Inneresting. I always thought the 93R was continuous FA, but now I find out it's actually a burst-beast. And surprisingly accurate.

Pretty common in video games, though many times as a full auto.

Also one of the preferred side arms of Mack Bolan, for those of us that read the Stony Man series.

Early gun-porn novels, sold in paperback from Golden Eagle back in the day.

He always had either the 93R or a 44 Automag (another interesting and very real gun). And in the really cool stories he had both. Smile

I would love to know what led the Dallas police to request such a weapon.

Very cool video. Thanks for posting.

Knew about the gun, but never bothered to dig further to find out what the "R" stands for. Now I know. "Raffica" just sounds cool. Cool

I never was a fan of the 92 series Beretta's. Those guns were always just "meh" imo.
But this one!!!! Eek
I've always had a blast ripping away a magazine or two with full auto. It does get a lil hot toward the business end after Mag #2.
