rduckworBlack Box data and the Max 8
I know the other thread was locked, but I have a serious question for the commercial pilots here.
The article I am linking alleges that the autopilot "anti-stall" routine is reducing the angle of attack during climb out. I understand the intent of that routine - to prevent stalls.
However, is this routine not electable? i.e. is it always on even when the autopilot is commanded off?
The reason for asking is that I never knew that commercial pilots engaged the autopilot immediately after rotation. Or do they in the newer A/C?
