Uh-Oh Cpap on the way. Help! (F40 update pg 4)
100% thread drift but good info for new users:
Should you order your supplies through Adapt Health/Aerocare/Aerocare, they will first push charges at your health insurance. Anything remaining after insurance is then billed to you. This process can take months. So what ends up happening is you will get invoices for things ordered months prior that you thought were already paid for.

The lesson I am trying to share here is if possible, avoid Adapt Health/Aerocare. You absolutely will not speak to anyone in the US about billing. Local offices don't handle billing. You'll likely need additional blood pressure medication if caught within the Adapt Health/Aerocare web.

Do whatever possible to take your business to anyone EXCEPT Adapth Health/Aerocare or don't say I didn't warn you.

Well, I just got my first full night's sleep since I started with this thing. (7 1/2 hrs.) Yes, I do feel refreshed and more clear-headed. The F40 mask made all the difference in the world. The lack of a rigid frame allows for some movement without knocking the mask out of whack. It's comfortable (relatively) and no face marks in the AM. Those mouth breathers having a problem with full masks, with rigid frames, may want to give it a try. Bushy facial hair may be a problem but I have a full fu manchu trimmed with a #2 that is a non-issue.

That said, this whole thing still sucks...

One other thing, I don't feel as though I have to clamp down on it to get a seal like I did with the F20. It seals well and still feels loose. You might like it although it is a $155 gamble. Nothing is interchangeable with the F20.

I might have to try the f40
Now. I had to clamp down on my f20 last night. Finally got a good seal but it was pretty tight. Researching the f40 now. Yeah, the whole thing blows, but i actually
Look forward to a good nights sleep now. I used to dread putting it on, but now i look forward to wearing my mask, it gives me such a good nights sleep that it is now like a comfort blanket.
