None of the "he didna do nuffin'" stuff. In fact, if the transcript of what she said is accurate, she was well-spoken. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017...n-robbery-video.html Mom turns 12-year-old in after seeing him in robbery video Detroit police have charged a 12-year-old boy in a mugging caught on camera after he was turned in by his mother who saw the video, WXYZ-TV reported Friday. “He was involved,” she told the station. “It’s something I had to do.” The victim was a disabled man eating alone in a restaurant on Detroit’s west side over the weekend. Police also have arrested a 20-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy in connection with the crime. “He was crying to me, he’s sorry mommy, he didn’t mean it, he didn’t know what happened, it happened so fast,” the woman told the station. She was identified only by her first name and her face was not shown on camera. The victim says he gave each of them a dollar. The older one then tried to snatch his wallet. Police said the man got into a struggle with the three suspects. “I want him to learn a lesson for this,” the woman told the station. “I want him to be able to put this behind him and let him know this will never happen again.” Police released the surveillance video of the mugging Wednesday. The woman said a friend told her that she had to see the video because her son, a 7th grader, was in it. She turned him in to police Thursday.

hopefully her responsible actions set him straight and he can have a good and normal life. Which is so often not the case, when the normal in those environments can be so counter-culture Abnormal, than it's difficult to escape its gravity.

Best thing that could happen to him, and really at the best age. He'll be dealt with in juvie, and with a mom like that he just might straighten out. ________________________________________________ "You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. I applaud her actions. I can imagine how hard it was for her. Now....am I the only one that has noticed that for the bulk of these stories, a father is rarely, if ever, mentioned?

For once this kid may actually have a chance to turn his life around! But do these idiots not realize that there are cameras everywhere now? Collecting dust.

Government replaced dad with a monthly check. A few generations of that and it's no wonder young men have no idea how to act. "The days are stacked against what we think we are." Jim Harrison

Good on her. It's the failure of parents to teach their children these lessons that leads to more thugs on the streets. I hope he comes away with the knowledge that his actions have consequences.
