I am looking for a light weight everyday shoe that can be worn with no socks. I have a pair of Hey Dudes Wally Sox which fit the bill but I am looking for some different options. There is another shoe called Breeze which are vented.

Are there any other recommendations?

I've always found a pair of J.P. Tod's driving shoes to be my favorite.

They are kind of spendy, but good things are worth paying extra for.

I have good luck with Vans. I'm on my third pair of the classic checkered Vans. I get the most comments out in public when I wear them.

I rarely wear socks except when wearing hiking shoes.

My go too are boat shoes.

Currently, my shoe of choice is Sperry 3 eyelet shoes.

The quality is nothing like it used to be.

I used to get a few years or more out of them.

Now one or two seasons tops.

I switch to LL beans in the winter.

I'm in the boat shoes camp. I have a pair of Timberland's and a pair of LL Bean's. Both good quality and not crazy expensive.

Top Siders. I have worn them for decades without socks. Throw away the insole and get something with better arch support and heel cushioning. Wash the insoles every few weeks in the summer months. Treat the leather with saddle soap a couple of times a year.

Sperry Topsiders are what I wear almost year round. The pair I have now are 2 yrs old, the ones before lasted 5. I make sure I wash them inside and out and oil them about every other month. I don’t use them for yard work

As have been mentioned, Sperry Topsiders and Vans were the first off the top of my head.

In addition to those, I'd suggest some minimalist zero-drop trail running shoes by brands such as Merrell, Xero, or Vibram FiveFinger.

Sperry 3 eyed Billfish. I’ve had 10 pair or so over the past 20 years… they can be had in wide widths if needed.

Another expensive option are these slide on Camp Mocs. I do not have a pair but I’ve heard good things and always keep an eye out for a sale.
