You’re probably right. However, the question that comes to my mind is, “What kind of moron runs a wild & dangerous animal facility open to the publi c and doesn’t secure the cages such that visitors cannot easily put themselves at risk?”

Let’s face it, there are stupid people out there, and as much as we like to say stupid should hurt, it is highly irresponsible to have a facility open to the public with easily foreseen dangers and not take steps to protect even the stupid from those dangers.

Perhaps the administrator of the facility should be fed to the tiger too?

I disagree, people that want to win Darwin awards should be able to do so

Watched a tiger being fed a deer head at Out of Africa Wildlife Park.
Licked the neck a few times and then it crunched off a piece of the skull like a fat kid eating a candy bar.
Wonderful and terrifying at the same time.

Any idiot wanting to get near one of these animals ain’t right in the head.

I did a year and a half in Africa.
Seen and done a lot of cool stuff!
One of which was playing with Lion cubs, then Momma came around the corner! I almost shit myself!
I got to pet her too. It was an amazing experience!
This was at a Lion preserve where they raise and rescue Lion and lion cubs.

That being said, there is NO WAY IN HELL that I would EVER get into a lion cage in a zoo. That’s just asking to be a meal!

I agree with this statement.

You can idiot proof just about anything until a more improved design idiot is introduced.

Ask Roy of Siegfried & Roy how dangerous tigers, even supposedly tamed ones, can be. Oh, wait, you can't.

There was plenty of fail to go around, but it was all human dumbfuckery. The animal should not have to pay the price for it.

I got Survivor:

It's the eye of the tiger
IT'S THE THRILL OF THE FIGHT
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all
With the eye of the tiger

A lot of mistakes made in this incident but the tiger should not have to die for it.
