Delta Faucet Repair Parts
Delta faucets have lifetime warranty. Need a replacement part? Just contact Delta's customer service and the part will be sent to you at no charge.

We have had a Delta faucet for the kitchen sink for fifteen, maybe twenty, years. During that time I have needed a couple replacement parts that were always sent promptly (no charge), so our address is in their database.

The brown UPS truck stopped yesterday and the driver left a couple of small bags. I opened them and found Delta replacement / repair parts. Cool! I didn't order anything from Delta, and these parts are not for the faucet model that we have.

I looked again at the UPS shipping labels on the bags and realized that they were addressed to somebody I never heard of, at my address.

My address is a single family house, and we have been the only occupants since the house was built in 1986, so the addressee's name has never been associated with this address. Delta must have taken the request for repair parts and somehow associated the requestor's name with my address in their database.

Internet searches did not show anybody with that name anywhere near me.

Looks like I have some spare parts for a Delta faucet that I don't own. If any of y'all need some Delta faucet repair parts, you can have these.

Look at the sender address.

If it is form Delta, you may be correct.

If it looks like it is from a third party, it may be "brushing".

They'd have to have his phone tapped too wouldn't they? Big Grin

I've never understood the brushing scam, and I've received things myself. What I don't get is, if they have the ability to write a fake review in my name, why would they need to bother sending me something?

Some sites only allow verified purchasers to write reviews.

So you are now the verified purchaser and "you" are writing the review.

Definitely from Delta. Same sender address as the repair parts that I have received in the past. Almost guaranteed that it is some sort of error on the part of Delta's customer service. When I have dealt with them in the past, I had the impression that these people might be contract reps, working from home, some who knew what they were doing and some who clearly needed training.

That still makes no sense.
If they can pretend I ordered something and pretend to be me to write a review, they can pretend they sent me something.

I leaned a while back, if something shows up unsolicited, no duty on you to return it.

During the years that I was living in Puerto Rico, moonlighting as a charter / air taxi pilot and flight instructor, I learned that the standard acknowledgement on the radio was "Royer."

This is exactly the truth. I had to order a part a few months ago and the woman couldn’t get thru the script fast enough. Kid was in the background screaming.

I finally told her not only was I the homeowner but was also a plumber and just send me the part number I requested. (I’m not a plumber)
