I had always played it in the open position starting with an open Dm arpeggiated chord, finishing the intro with some kind of Esus chord. Maybe an Esus4 chord.

Thanks Carl! I'm good. I only wanted to mention a different way of playing it without the capo. Your version is the correct way to play it. Someone showed me how to play it the way I mentioned and I didn't check on how it was actually played until years later. I am still stuck playing it the way I first learned it.
