I tried to call customer service at 5:30 eastern. I got a recording that said their office was closed and that normal business hours are until 6pm eastern.

Guess they closed down a little early today .

I tried calling Gillette too. I wanted to thank them for saving me $25 per month in overpriced razor blades. Signed up for Dollar Shave this morning.

Gillette Now Including Free Manly Side Bag With Every Purchase

January 15th, 2019


BOSTON, MA—As part of its new ad campaign designed to target a new, more sensitive American male, Gillette announced Tuesday that the company will be giving out a free manly pink side bag with every purchase while supplies last.

The bag will reportedly contain a copy of The Feminine Mystique and instructions on how to treat any toxic masculinity you may have come down with. To get the free bag, you must spend at least $20 on a Gillette razor or other hygienic product and mail in your man card to the company.

"We want to appeal to the modern man," Gillette spokesperson Beau Petite said. "So we're offering this extremely manly, attractive side bag for a limited time if you buy one of our really manly razor products." Petite said the side bags have many great uses. "You can store a little concealer or blush for an afternoon touch-up, your coin purse, a pair of spherical objects. Whatever you want."

Gillette's promotion reportedly launched with a whimper, as few men wanted the "manly side bags" for some reason. The company has said it is regrouping and considering offering a free man bun hair tie with every purchase instead.

Funny how a company spouting toxic masculinity sells razors for men in blue packages and razors for women in pink packaging. What does that say about the and their stereotype marketing BS?

I use Fusion blades. Guess I need a new brand now. I dont spend too much time on boycotting products from stupid companies, but this one is too much. Me and my toxic money will buy elsewhere

That ain't shit, they get their palm oil from a company that bullies their employees into working ten and twelve hour or more days and set quotas so high that the employees are making their kids come work with them after school or even drop out of school.

I'd like Gillette to step up and be The Best A Man Can Get and demand that their suppliers don't use exploited labor or child labor and that they provide medical care for their employees for injury/illness sustained at work.

I sent them a message this evening relaying that I will no longer purchase Gillette products and actively supply business to P&G competitors. I’m voting with my wallet and will pass on similar advice to friends + family.

I also use a small spray bottle to mist it on my face after shaving.

Pelindaba has a local outlet store where I can get a ½ gallon bottle refilled for about $30, and it will last about a year or so. All natural, no chemicals at all.

I got some Schick Hydro today as I am now a former fusion user. I actually like them better.

Straights or DE Safety razors FTW! I have a Gillette DE but the folks who made it are probably rolling in their graves.
