Appears like Gillette shareholders are going to be upset over this stupid ad campaign. The biggest change right now is customers going to other brands. I'll be moving on from the Mach razor.

Well my newest Gillette razor is from 1963. Also have a few from the 40’s and even the 30’s. They work great and were “pre-toxic masculinity” so I think I’ll give them a waiver for continued use.

I do have about 80 Gillette Silver Blue Blades I bought a couple years ago. Will finish them up and use other options moving forward.

Fun fact - Gillette went to cartridge razors because they lost money to competitors DE blades. Kept coming up with “proprietary” razors to maintain and justify higher price and increased profits. Never really about a “better” shave, driven by profit motives.

Nope, but I remember sliding them into a really thin gap between some crown molding and the downstairs ceiling that I could easily reach from the stairs near the bathroom. I have no idea why I did it. Just because, I guess.

Been using Gillette razors ever since I started shaving and I'm 50 now. Just placed an order for a starter set from Harry's. Was feeling all excited until I hit the submit order and I got the, "Thank you... you're approximate ship time is January 29th - February 15th." WTF?

Oh well, at least I wasn't accused of being a bullying, raping, knuckle dragging, root of all evil and everything that's wrong with the world red blooded, America loving, beer drinking gun owning traditional male.

Gillette is a subsidiary of Proctor & Gamble so in effect their reach is greater than just Gillette in Boston, Massachusetts. But abandoning G hurts P&G somewhat. I’m making the change.

Used Gillette forever-- no more. I ordered a Schick holder plus 17 blades on Amazon and will never use Gillette again.

I just re-did one of our bathrooms. That explains all the blades back there!!

Dollar Shave Club will probably have a response video...at least I hope they will.

I have been using Gillette since I was 18. I’m 44 now. I have tried Dollar Shave Club, the value is excellent but I found the shave and it’s resuts inferior to Gillette. I will use my remaining Gillette blades then I will place an order with Harry’s.

Interesting marketing strategy for a male grooming supplier, castigating men. I wonder how it will turn out?

The video has gone viral, over 3 million views in just 48 hours. 300,000 thumbs downs and 78,000 comments, pretty much all negative, not counting the numerous comments deleted by Gillette/youtube.
