konata88...to answer your question as to which Dorco shaving system to get, I use the Pace 3 3-blade system and like it a lot...been using it for probably 4 or 5 years now. If I go to anything higher than 3 blades, I feel like I don't have as much control getting an accurate, clean trim line on my (short) sideburns...too much razor head blocks my view in the mirror.

Well now, DSC and UNILEVER you can kiss my ass and sing me a song. Actually, in fairness to them, they have a great website. It only took me a few moments to cancel my next shipment and membership subscription.

I bought a 3-blade razor and blades from Costco. The razor itself was made in China, but the blades are from Germany. Honestly, it’s not as good a setup as the Gillette Mach 3 it replaces, but then it’s not Gillette.

Harry's for me, no Gillette. Fuck 'em.

I also stopped using Gillette products after this mess. Now I shave with Schick single sided blades. It seems closer to me, and I get less bumps because it doesn't tug the hair follicles and then cut them shorter than needed. The only other methods I've liked in the past was using a straight razor - but it's time consuming, and I am in a hurry in the mornings.

I don't shave more than once or twice a week. The radiation for throat cancer five years ago seems to have killed my never very tough beard below my jaw line and, in a few places, just above it. Smooth and soft as a baby's bottom.

I found Harry's and for the first time in a long time, found a blade (actually blades) I like.

I sure hope they don't go stupid on me. How 'bout you just make and sell blades and other shaving stuff and leave the politicking, pandering and wokeness to those who don't want my money.

I use an electric. I haven't paid to shave since I bought the damn thin 11-12 years ago.

For some reason, Harry's didn't work that well for me (I use a Braun shaver most days, blade shave twice a week or so)...but Schick does.

I say screw Gillette, but I do use a 1957 Gillette TTO vintage razor with Feather blades. Far superior shave than plastic cartridges.

For die-hard DE shavers, I recommend:

Wilkinson Sword Razor blades and shaving products
