Live Body Armor Test
Although I think it is stupid and nothing more than a publicity stunt, i visited the website and was surprised by the prices. They are asking about $350 for a IIIA jacket. Considering that a second chance IIIA concealable vest commonly worn by cops is over $800, I dont think that they are priced bad at all.

It was back in the days when soft body armor was revolutionary and no one thought it would stop a bullet. Current issue was still the heavy plated type that weighed a ton. When I first got mine, I would have never thought it could be effective without that demonstration. Today I doubt it would be done in that manner.

Yeah, I agree with vest armor, it is well proven now and nobody is doubting it works. This is clothing though so I'm thinking there might be some skepticism in the market esp. regarding backface deformation. Oh, and good 'ol fashioned publicity!
