Not sure what kind of antenna you have tried.
I placed an old fashion antenna in my attic years ago before digital TV to get regular TV on top of my satellite TV.
When we went digital I thought I would need a new antenna. After asking around I was told the antenna I had would work, and it does. My wife mainly watches the TV that uses the antenna and she gets all the orlando stations along with several Tampa stations.
We live south west of Disney about 35 miles from orlando as the crow flies.
Are you using a digital antenna that sits either on top of the TV or a window?

At our previous home, the antenna I put in our attic would pick up Fort Myers(40 miles) and Tampa (70 miles).

When I cut the cord I went with Channel Master stuff and am extremely happy. I mounted an EXTREMtenna 80 in my attic and it pulls in many channels. I use a distribution amplifier and send the signal to many rooms in my house.

Lots of college football on the major networks and local pro games (Bears). I'd love to get Giants games, but I'm not paying for one of those NFL total packages.

ESPN, or TNT takes over from that point. If it wasn't for sports I would have dumped the big TV package years ago.

During the season, this is my goto website to watch the AVs, watched about 90 percent of the games. 10 percent were blacked out. The website is kind of clunky and opens new tabs whenever you select a button, but you can watch nearly every game with the home or away feed.

Go here, and choose which channels or networks you want to watch:

www.suppose.tv

I use Vidgo, as it carries everything I want (college football). Note also check with your cell carrier, as they offer special deals with certain cellplans.
