It's this weekend. Just wondering if anyone is going?

I haven't been in a couple of years, and think I might run down and check it out.

A couple of buddies and I are planning a trip on Sunday morning (AKA Gun Church). The last couple of shows I went to were underwhelming. The hall doesn't full up all the way to the back like in years past.

A lot going on. Not the least of which is the promoter is an asshole. He displays it all the time. Sunday morning is the deadest time anyhow. Try Saturday morning for as close to a full house as you'll get.

If you've gone before, then you know cash is king. Plastic will buy you nothing. Barter or negotiate all you want, you can't buy it unless you have green money. The old rules still apply. All the best guns sell the evening before. To other dealers. Then what's left sells in the first hour on Saturday. By Sunday, there is little left. But I'm talking from a collectors view.

I'll be there and Saturday is the day. If you do go Sunday get there early as many dealers start packing around noon.

Roller dogs and body odor, plus a long, crappy drive. No thanks. I'll stick with my internet purchases.
