41Cellphone for hearing impared person
I had a Tracphone which had a poor audio output and was not user friendly.
Does anyone have suggestions or recommendations for a good phone for limited use....no surfing the web?
TIA

Rey HRHif you have a hearing aid, new hearing aids have smart phone apps that let you connect automatically to the phone.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Correct. I have oticon hearing aids and am able to listen to my phone calls through them. Work very well.

PHPaulBluetooth to HA's is The Bomb! First time I've been able to carry on a phone conversation without asking the caller to repeat themselves constantly in years.
If you don't have aids, I'd look for a phone with a phone jack and ear buds which I suspect is a pretty standard thing anyway.
Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

AglifterSonim makes the flip phone I have - it has a 100+ db ringer, and speaker, I think.
I know the ringer is ridiculous, if turned up all the way.

coloradohunter44You need V-Tail to comment. I know he uses a combination of devices, but not sure which ones.

41I ended up getting a Samsung Galaxy A11 from the Verizon store in Fair Lakes Shopping Center for $150. The external speaker provides sufficient volume for bad hearing.
The service fee is $35 the first 9 months and $25 there after with no contract. The service was excellent with setting up the phone.
Thanks for your help.
