There were 30MPH winds from behind us, so the smoke dissipated quickly in front of us. That said, in the first picture, the smoke still clouds the targets.
We used Goex, the real thing.

My physical condition is such that when I shot my 32ACP Seecamp, it felt seemingly heavy in my hand and in my pocket.
I stopped by the LGS on the way home and I ended up buying a super lightweight Kel-Tec 32ACP in tan ceramic finish.
Fully loaded, the Kel-Tec is about 9oz while the Seecamp comes in at about 15oz, quite a difference.

I should add that the general weakness I have is pretty much everywhere. I am doing PT and such, but strength is not my strong point anymore.
Manipulating some of the controls that require hand and finger strength was downright tough. Life is not supposed to be this way, or I didn't used to be this way.
I am researching back pocket holsters for the new Kel-Tec P32. I think I am going with the Lisa Hedley back pocket one here: http://hedleyholsters.com/keltec.html
Someone recently asked me why I still carry if I only have a few years left. I replied I wish to keep those few years and not have them taken from me without the possibility of resistance.

Not somebody on this forum, I would hope?

That's a bit fucking cold. Hopefully it wasn't a good friend.
Personally, I am glad you are working out compromises rather than simply giving up.

Working out compromises? Yep, I hadn't looked at it that way, but that is exactly what I am doing where possible. I just hadn't thought of the word "compromise", more like whatever works best.
I was happy (in a way) that I bought something new like the Kel-Tec. For the last few months, it seemed like I was losing interest in buying anything. And that includes things non firearm related as well.

You might consider a holster like this one for the kel-rec. I've used one for years, and unlike many pocket holsters, you don't have to worry about separating the gun from the holster. It also gives extra purchase on the kell-tec's tiny grip. I'm not sure if the P38 is the same size add the P3AT.

That is interesting, I've never seen that one.

Doesn't that fall under AOW rules of disguising a firearm/handgun in a ready to fire state?

I had one on my P3AT just like that, fits right down in the pocket, it doesn't cover the upper slide so it's not a problem with any rules violations, at least that was how it was explained to me and what I've read about the rules.
You can also try a Remora pocket holster, you can wear it in the pocket or IWB with the no slip and they are $20 on sale now. I use the Remora with my p938

Well well well... I am getting positive results from my PT. Plus it seems the more time passes from the kidney/hernia surgery, the better physically I am getting.
The surgeries sure set me back.
Given the improved physicality, my body getting more used to the medication Votrient, and getting the mental things I need taken of care of, I feel some sense of "living" again, strange as that may sound.
It seemed for a while as I was sick and recovering, everyday interests were put on hold. I began to think some of those things might be gone for good.
I actually went out and bought something for myself, a new Kel-Tec P32. I tested it today and it passed. It's going to be my new lightweight carry piece.
Now, mrs lbj would normally not be wild about a new firearm purchase, but she was very supportive. I believe she likes the idea of me getting more normal again.

My only concern with that would be sitting on it MAY pop the magazine out, unlike the Seecamp which has the Euro-style heel mag release, this has a more traditional American-style mag release button.
If you want to switch to a front pocket, the DeSantis Nemesis works very well for me. Always stays put when I grab the pistol, which can't be said for most pocket holsters.

I hadn't thought about that, so I guess we will see. If indeed such happens, I will revisit the carry method.
At least something positive has my attention right now. I was beginning to wonder. Though I suppose it's not been three months yet since the surgeries.

I love what being more normal looks like for you, lbj. Simple joys, living life as you see fit. Normalcy is so easy to take for granted. Thanks for reminding us.This message has been edited. Last edited by: jigray3,
