I have never been fond of fruit. It's a creepy texture thing I have suffered with my whole life.

No worries then! Whatever Michigan may have to offer that you might have an inkling to try, name it, and I'd be glad to give it a go to make happen! Cherries, maple syrup, Thimbleberry jam, etc, you name it! You already have the Ford Mustang, so that'll be hard to top.

Younger daughter is here from Dallas so Wednesday is family portrait day at the professional photographer's studio.
I am actually looking forward to this.

But wait, there's more...

Thursday afternoon is going to be family range day.
It's going to be a great 2 days.

The photo shoot went well. Everyone behaved.
It was fun.
I was making idle chit chat until I looked at the daughters and said "Where are my grandchildren and when can I expect them."

I was half joking, and the other half was serious.

To my surprise, the oldest daughter who moved in with her boyfriend recently, says "I'm working on it."
She was serious too.

I could have been knocked over by a feather.
I really do want to be a grandfather, for however short that may be.
Oldest daughter and boyfriend seem like good stock, it may just may happen.

I knew something worthwhile was going to come from this photo shoot.

Is your family competitive? Do they make any wagers on the best/worst grouping of the day?

Around here, it's the looser that has to buy dinner or do everyone's dishes with the winner getting to pick what's on the menu.

When Mom knows someone else will be doing the dishes she doesn't care how many pots and pans get used, she goes all out!

Yes, it pains me as a father that someone is boffing my daughters, it really does. It's supposed to be that way, I think anyway.

One the other hand, no boffing, no grandchild.

They are in their 20s, so I am resigned to the idea they are going to boff.
