I'd like to build a simple camp sink I can operate with a foot pedal that helps with sanitation and doesn't waste water.

A number of the designs I've found on the web use a foot pedal pump made from an outboard motor fuel line primer squeeze bulb. I'd like to build something for less than $100 if possible. If you have built something like this, or have ideas on a simpler way to do this, I welcome your suggestions.

Deluxe Filtration Camp Sink

This design is nice concept in theory, but I don't want to spend $350 for a camp sink. I like the pvc pipe faucet that doubles as a paper towel holder, Sawyer bucket filter system, and the stainless bowl sink that fits in the top of the Lowe's 5 gallon bucket.

Field Sink

This design looks like it would work, but seems complicated to make.

I got water stored away for preparedness and I think this coming weekend I am going to make the simple one I posted. Along with a porta toilet. Wink

Simple and cheap DIY toilet:

Little bit better DIY throne:

or the "just buy the damn thing" method:

I'm wondering about just hanging one of those camping shower bags for the water supply. They have a valve you could operate or modify. With sun you will have hot water. Might be a less complicated system.

The less complicated, the more likely it is to work when needed.
