I've had it for about a year now. Last night cruising around I toss in a CD that I burned on a PC I'd say 20 years ago. A collection of decent live songs. I had back in the day an RCA Hi Fi VCR that had a killer sound section. Some of these recordings I took off of VCR tapes, and couple came off of artists appearing on Letterman and other shows that I recorded with the VCR. The center panel where the text comes up identifying the songs got all but one right by identifying the artist or the song. One was an old live recording of Joan Osborne performing Brick House that I got off of an old cassette tape. Brick House came up on the deck panel. I understand the info is encoded on CD's, radio, and other sources, but how does this voodoo work given some of the sources I used?

Gracenote maybe? From what I understand, it fills in missing info
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I see her every time she gets close. To turn a Blues Brothers phrase she can turn goat piss into gasoline.
