konata88Perjury/Law standard for any government position?
When one is sworn into office, one takes an oath to to uphold the Constitution, etc. In courts, one takes an oath to not commit perjury.
It seems these days politicians and judges (and other roles) are not compelled to hold themselves to duties like upholding the Constitution nor to having higher standard of integrity.
Why are there no actions when they fail to do so? And if you catch these people in a lie (ie - for example, if 'the fire' was actually arson and there is evidence of it yet the authorities that be tell the public it's not arson), why aren't they punished? Things like this are not generally tolerated in the private sector; yet we allow the public sector get away with this time and again.
I don't mean having to go through impeachment process. I mean immediately removed from office and tried under criminal law.
And I don't mean for everything little thing. But things like Benghazi. Russian collusion. IRS targeting select groups. If it comes to be, church arson.
I'm just so tired of .gov lying to the public for some agenda, especially when the actions violate things like the Constitution, w/out any repercussions when caught.
And it goes for judges - when judges make a ruling that is unconstitutional and determined as such by higher courts, these judges should be removed from office for either lack of integrity and/or lack of competency.

caneauDue process?
Not sure what you're getting at. They would need to be convinced of a crime to be removed from office.

Sig209apparently there are two sets of rules...
probably has always been that way
but I think now with so many streams on information - 'they' get exposed a lot more
the thing that amazes me is - the Nixon presidency was toppled by a transgression that was 3rd grade kid stuff compared to what has been going on the last 10 years with Obama / Clinton / DNC etc...
we live in strange times

FredwardWhat would the charge be? Lying in court is perjury. There is no charge for violating one's oath of office, and it is an subjective standard. So you didn't support and defend the Constitution-in what way? The solution to the problem is at the ballot box.
