Go big or go home I guess. Hauled them off in a Uhaul.

Why would there be 400 guns at a UPS facility?

UPS ships guns.

UPS doesn't ship on Sundays.

Therefore any guns in transit with UPS would have been sitting at a hub on Sunday.

Memphis is a major UPS hub.

LTL depot. They've hit it before here. Big shipments direct from manufacturers to distributors or big retailers.

And there are no other identifying characteristics about either of them. Roll Eyes

Sounds suspiciously like an “inside job” to me.

Especially since they are wearing the green vests exactly like they hand you at the guard shack at that place.

Because the color of their clothing is the only thing reportable, the rest of the description if considered "normal" for this type activity?

Interesting that UPS demands overnight shipping at an outrageous price then doesn't have adequate security in their own facility. I certainly hope these folks are caught and incarcerated and the guns recovered. We don't need 400 stolen guns loose on the streets.

If the thieves knew exactly where to go in the facility, someone must have told them. Well, it is Memphis.

Poor security as well. Up to $5,000 reward, it should be $10,000 minimum.

One guess: Bud's Guns. Not only do they have a location in TN, Memphis is a major cargo shipping hub. It's actually no surprise at all that 400 guns could be sitting in a UPS distribution facility.

Odd that a high-risk/high-dollar item like firearms would pass through a 3rd party LTL location...
Doesn't say if they were on pallets or, coming from the shipper to be distributed to consumers.

Seeing a U-Haul in the yard should've been a red-flag from the outset. If UPS is down trucks they're turning to a commercial rental company that either specializes in field or, known brands like Ryder, Budget and Penske ...not U-Haul.
Clearly an inside job.

You can bet they employ probationers and gangbangers just like Hodgkins, Ill.

Bass Pro Shops HQ and flagship store is in Memphis. It would not be at all usual for them to receive a shipment of 400 guns.

I believe Memphis is a UPS hub. Guns from everywhere going anywhere locked up over the weekend.

Actually, their HQ and flagship store is in Springfield, MO. The store in Memphis is inside the old "Pyramid" which if I remember right was a casino. Prior to BP taking over the future of the structure was uncertain and in fear of being torn down.

Academy had a huge shipment of guns stolen last year at their facility in Olive Branch,Ms which is considered by some to be a suburb of Memphis. Heard nothing in terms of followup.
