Oh, NOW both sides want to "talk", saying stuff like "It doesn't have to be this way, y'know?", all nervous and almost pleading when saying it to the other side.
No fucking shit, boys and girls. Just what in the fuck did you think was going to happen with both sides toting iron and all the shit-talking going on?
The wrong people are out there. Way too young. Most of them in the vicinity of the incident just got a huge wakeup call. Welcome to reality. Ya figurin' it out now, kiddies?

TXJIMFrom what I gathered from various statements on the live steam, including one of the streamers who wiitnessed it, there was one person shot first. Mr. Green shirt was running down the street away from the scene and was chased or confronted. He said to his pursuers that he didn't shoot anyone and was at some point in the confrontation hit in the head with a thrown object. At that point he shot two people that were part of the group confronting him.
This is from various reports on the live stream and may not be accurate, just what was said by supposed witnesses. I did hear a request for an "ME" over the scanner traffic in the background of the stream also.

Yep, scuttlebutt is that he was attacked and he defended himself.
This
should be a wakeup call for everyone on both sides, in all of these cities.
Unfortunately, this will result in an escalation on the left. More of them will bring guns to the party and they'll be ready to use them. This should be the end of it, but it's going to turn out to be the beginning. Another change will be just who shows up. Those who lack the courage for this kind of thing may stay home or stay on the fringes of the crowd. You can bet your bottom dollar this has given some people a lot to think about.

TXJIMMultiple Twitter accounts reporting first person shot was in the act of looting a car shop. Then crowd chases Green shirt......never smart to chase someone who is armed with a rifle in the middle of a riot. Somehow I think more people now understand this than did maybe an hour ago.....

TXJIMHere is video of the crowd chasing Green shirt. He is seen tripping and going down at which point you hear a man yell "get his ass" as someone jumps on Green shirt and rolls off. Multiple gunshots are fired as people scatter.
Looks like a skateboard was thrown at him, causing him to tumble. Guy retrieves kateboard and goes in to jump on Green shirt as shots start.
Skateboard boy definitely hits Green shirt in the head while he is on the ground then appears to take a round to the gut. Never bring a skateboard to a gunfight...
