Now we know how/why Bendable posts some of things he does. He never received/ reviewed his copy. Big Grin

A real gabfest was triggered the other day when Arc used the trigger word of Triscuit. Now, that word has somehow showed up on our shopping list.

Stupid analogy but if that makes you feel better about yourself then have at it.

My first thought was that there wasn't anything in my post that should have triggered anybody or anything so I was surprised by the message I received and posted this thread in an attempt to better learn the ways of this forum. The more I thought about it, i can only assume it was prompted by the phase feeling f r i s k y?

I find it funny how many of you assumed I was PO'ed, triggered or otherwise put off but I think that speaks more about you then me. If anything, I found it humorous.

Just cool your jets.

The word in question is BOTACH. OK? Happy now?

Botach has had a shit reputation since forever. There's a short list of businesses which I do not allow to be mentioned here, for the simple reason that they can be trouble for anyone who deals with them. We won't be responsible for driving business to such places, hence, the blocking of their names.

And, no, there is no list of such words available for members to review. This would defeat the purpose of blocking them, as such a list would itself demonstrate how to easily get around these words, by spacing letters apart, or misspelling, etc.

Well I figured the word wasn't Glock, dog or cat. At least I was right about that. Smile

Yes! Trying to reference a person and a website that is no longer active. Many years ago now.

My jets were never fired up but thanks for the friendly response. I now know not to use the "B" word around here.

Cheers!

There is a list, but we are not privvy to it--only those who administer the forums. Para has stated the reason for that policy.

As I recall, the expression “trigger word” was used here long, long before it became the recent reference to something that gave snowflakes the vapors. Once again we have an example of ignorance and assumption leading to a false conclusion about a policy’s intent.

You want a "friendly response" after you create a thread like this, with this "seriously?' and "lol" horse shit in it? You want to laugh at us and ridicule us for something you don't even understand, and you expect to be treated gently? If you want to be treated respectfully, then don't behave this way.

Yeah...THAT 'B' company.

Met them at SHOT show once, I'll just say two-faced and duplicitous is one description for them. As long as they've been around, can't believe there's an endless supply of suckers willing to hand them their money...smh

WHAT!?!?! When I wanted to join the 10mm posse they said I had to sign the waiver and send a picture of myself posing with a gay cake in assless chaps....I sent it all in 10 years ago

I haven't heard back and figured the email got lost on the island of misfit toys.

Now you saying I bought fucking assless chaps for no reason....next you're gonna tell me the batteries aren't going to arrive and the picture with the burrito was a waste of time as well...

ok...the assless chaps are nice to wear when I mow the lawn....breezy and the neighbors no longer try and talk to me.

PSA..they are no ideal for weed whacking Cool

Denying the existence of the wavier is mentioned in the very last part of the waiver, paragraph 7, sub-section B.

As LBJ has told me in the past, all chaps are assless, but it's more fun to say "assless chaps" for some reason.
