Ah man. That sucks. When it rains it pours.

Good luck. Maybe some prednisone or some such will help with her appetite.

My old girl Bo ,towards the end of her life was like that. Holding her down and shooting a pill and liquid into her mouth was no fun for either of us but it did help up until the end.

You have my sincerest condolences. Losing a furry friend is one of the worst pains I’ve had to deal with. I’m sure she’d thank you for giving her a happy life and doing the right thing at the end.

My dog has been gone for about a year now. I still reach over for her in the middle of the night...and find nothing.

I'm beginning to realize that I shouldn't be focusing on her loss but on rejoicing in the fact that she existed and I was blessed to have intertwined my life with hers.

I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.

We had to do the same to old Kenny last Monday. Twelve years back he was a total feral who showed up and eventually transitioned to the pampered life of a house cat.

We gave him a safe, comfy life,good food and affection. All we can do.

Sorry to hear that. Godspeed old Kenny!
Indeed, all we can do is give them a good life with lots of affection - and be grateful and humbled by the positive difference such a small creature can make in our lives.

You, along with ClivefromtheMed are a good soul.

Me and my old lady are on our second feral rescue.

Great companions who try hard to fit in. They are loved.
