Hell, I've seen 'em made with just a layer of buttered salt and a chopped salad complete with Russian dressing. I don't like tacos so much as they're just a fundamental building block of existence.

I agree......Now, Taco and Poblano in the same sentence, bring it on.

I love taco's. We have many different varieties of proteins and places for taco's here.

I felt the same way, until I was visiting Ket West and my daughter encouraged me to try one of hers... it was very good, whole new dimension.

And I’m not crazy about seafood either.

My Mom used to do the same thing, we always enjoyed a taco night.

Grew up eating crispy tacos at home; mom put all the fillings out on the table in separate bowls and we made our own.

Oh, Oh. Not a big fan of tacos, never have been. Oh, I will eat them but they are far from a favorite of mine. That pretty much goes for Mexican food as a whole. I will down a half bottle of antacids when I get home

My problem is my family loves Mexican food and that is pretty much where they always want to go eat. We have a local Mexican restaurant that is a favorite of theirs. I go because on Tuesdays and Thursdays they have Margaritas for a dollar. Smile

Soft tacos. I detest the crunchy tacos that explode into shards of chip crumbs when you bite into them. Man wasn't meant to eat crunchy tacos.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

i enjoy them -- usually soft style

we crush doritos up and sprinkle the crumbs on for extra flavor

the 'purple bag' doritos are really good for that

I don't know anyone who doesn't at least eat tacos.

I am a huge fan. Tacos lengua are my favorite, just with onion and cilantro.

There's a Mexican hole in the wall just down the road where I can get them. Next to a Mexican grocery store, and often with about half the tables occupied by latinos, so it's legit. Maybe not abuela's home cookin', but still damn good.

If only it were as cheap as Mexican street food. Frown

Looks delish, but “EASY Birria Tacos” ???
It’s the most complex recipe that I recall ever seeing. Would take me at least two days! And $200 of new kitchen gear.

Carnitas are my go-to taco, but when I can find tongue on the menu I’ll get at least one.

One of the best I ever had was a duck taco on the breakfast menu at a place in Austin. Ye gods was it good!

i’ll be one of the few. i’ll eat them. taste is okay. but i don’t like turning my head to eat food. and tacos are messy. everything falls out. burritos are preferred over tacos. and i can’t figure out the flat tacos - tostada?

i also hate burgers and sandwiches where stuff falls out or hangs outside the bread when you take a bite so.....

^^^ So what do you do about barbeque?

The dirty little secret is that you get to use as many tortillas as you want so there's no reason to overload anything. Think of the tortilla as an edible plate for samplers and you'll be fine. If all else fails, eat things like lettuce and tomatoes separately so you can save room in the tortilla for protein and spices. If that seems to be a bit heavy, stick with the smaller corn tortillas and don't eat the flour ones. Just bear in mind that you'll always want a bit of salsa, or at least some peppers, with the corn tortillas.

On top of tacos, we also make and eat fajitas with grilled skirt or flank steak a couple of nights a month. I love those things.

The funny thing about tacos is that, just like with dumplings, virtually every culture has some version of it.

I love tacos in all their forms.

I love tacos, and I'm hoping at some point to go to Mexico and try some authentic ones. Seems like there was a documentary series on......Netflix?...about the variety of tacos down there.
