Missing products on store shelves
Skippy Honey Roasted Peanut Butter; about 50% chance Kroger has it in stock.
Beyond Meat (brand) Beyond Burger plant-based patties; about 25% chance

When COVID first hit, distilled water was non-existent. Lately, Kroger always has it in stock.

COVID restrictions effect all levels of the supply chain. If Skippy can't get peanuts, they can't keep up with demand.

Lumber prices are outrageous right now. 2x4 8' is almost $6.

Need decking boards good luck. A few weeks ago I talked to 3 lumber yards, Lowes and HD with no luck. All said no idea when they would have it.

^^^ I tried to find some flat, straight, smooth 2x4s three weeks ago. Lowe's stacks had been thoroughly picked over and looked bleak. Home Depot only had a small supply, and that I would be ashamed to burn in the fireplace. Another Lowe's had some "select" wood, but I had to dig through half the stack to find a few semi-good boards.

Several have mentioned shortages of cleaning products. I'll second that. You can't find any cleaning products at all around here that have the "Kills 99.9% of all germs and viruses" phrase on the bottle or can. None to be had. I have been looking, not because of an immediate need, but to stock up. Fortunately, I did lay in a good supply when I found a store that was loaded up a while back, so I should be OK for a while.

We’ve had the same issue. None to be found.

Locally, Windex and the store brand knockoffs. The only glass cleaner on the shelf is aerosol “Sprayway” brand.

No Diet Cherry Pepsi, my wife likes it. She even called Pepsi and they said they are making only certain flavors due to the scamdemic.

Same with standard pine wood fence materials. Been that way since like April/May around here.

Broke a fence picket? Tough luck. Your only options are to leave the gap as it is, or fill it with an expensive cedar picket that won't match.

I lucked out and my new house got a PT pine fence installed in late May (on the two sides that weren't already fenced). But it's right about the last one in the area. All the even newer houses either have cedar fences, installed at 5+ times the usual fence price, or no fences at all.

Even better, the other two sides of my yard have 10ish year old dilapidated pine fencing. (Those two neighbors apparently don't know what fence maintenance or wood sealer/stain are.) I just know there's going to be some issues come up during the fall/winter/spring storms. I'm just crossing my fingers that the PT pine supply will have caught up some by that point.

Local Walmart was out of yeast for 6 weeks and had very little flour.

Diet Mt Dew- not made any more in quantity . I’m told an aluminum shortage, bottling is only doing a few soda’s and not the large variety as before.

Bleach hard to find

Lysol impossible to find

Made in China trinkets at Walmart in very short supply. Lots of empty shelves , and been that way for months. New toaster , you have one or two options, not ten options like before .

I ditched the Windex and use Sprayway exclusively now, after watching and talking to the guys who replaced my bathroom mirror.

Slightly off topic but you can buy granulated lye off Amazon for cheap and mix it yourself when needed.

I read that the company that makes Chlorox wipes is shipping one million containers every day, but it will be months, maybe a year, before they're plentiful in stores.

Powdered dish washing detergent. I hate the liquid crap as it leaves a white sorta film on everything.
Handy Wipes for, well, wiping things handily. They are a cheap, thin, disposable wash cloth type of thing but the hangers where they hang in my local store have been empty long time.

Everything is being effected by the commie/demorat virus.

Even products which were deemed essential.

Imagine if Trump hadn't "played down" the virus situation? If we had really gone into full panic mode we would have been shooting someone for their toilet paper.

We needed a new washing machine so decided to get a speed queen based on all the chatter on the site about how wonderful they are. Well, it’s gonna take at least six weeks to To get it in. We bought through a large, independent, high volume speed queen dealer in the area and they just cannot get them in.
