I got tired of hauling my big 12 Rigid saw aroubd for any little project and went to look at a battery operated one to potentially replace it. I initially bought the little 7 3/4” sliding One+ tool only model, figuring I’d keep both it abs the big guy but mostly use the little cordless one.

Today I had to run back to Home Depot for some more door trim kits and for some reason looked at saws again. This Home Depot (different than the last) had the 10” kit, which includes a battery and charger, plus is brushless. It was marked $400 and I decided to get it and return the smaller one and sell my older Rigid.

Imagine my surprise when the new 10” Ryobi rang up for $249, only $20 more than the little, brushed model that didn’t come with a battery!

So if you need a new saw, check out your Home Depot. It wasn’t marked on sale so I don’t really know why it was so cheap.

I recently bought into the Ryobi family with a mower & blower, considering selling my 2-stroke Stihl string trimmer & getting the matching Ryobi.

HD had a deal running on the Ryobi One tools. Something like buy a qualified tool & get a 2nd tool or battery free.
