What I love is that Puig describes it as one of the best days of his life, and can’t wait to go back. Beautiful. A mitzvah for sure.

Good for him, and them. I’ll look at him a little different now during my nightly Tribe games.

From a lifelong Red Sox fan: Go Tribe!

"I vowed to myself to fight against evil more completely and more wholeheartedly than I ever did before. . . . That’s the only way to pay back part of that vast debt, to live up to and try to fulfill that tremendous obligation."

Alfred Hornik, Sunday, December 2, 1945 to his family, on his continuing duty to others for surviving WW II.

That is a wonderful story. It is so good on so many levels and tells me so much about Mr. Puig's true nature and outstanding character.

I also wish we saw more true stories in the press such as this. I would like to believe stories similar to this occur frequently. I appreciate that the journalist reported the story simply and without hyperbole. The depth of the event is probably best known only by Mr. Puig, the kids and God.

Thank you for sharing.

Nice.
