If you have around 80 grand and 87 days to kill, that's all it takes. I can't imagine being on a boat that long and not being in the Navy or something. Seems like it would get old after awhile, although there are some cool places along the way. I bet there are way more Lovey and Thurston's on board other than Mary Ann and Ginger's.

I mean right now 87 days in the arctic sounds AMAZING!!!!!!

Seriously though I personally would enjoy it. The rest of my family not so much.

I'd actually like to visit Antarctica sometime, but not by boat unless maybe it's a Navy submarine. I get seasick just looking at the ocean.

I think I would enjoy but I know my wife would not. She would be good with the warm weather part but she hates cold.

This time of year, absolfuckinglutely. With Vikings reputation I am guessing you would be well taken care of in terms how you were treated. So Yeah, I am all in. Aren't there some legit fund me sites?

We took a boat from Ushuaia several years ago, had a blast. Thankfully the Drake Passage was mild. Nearly every day was sunny and 30. We went in Jan or Feb, their summer.

I would think not, but can't be sure. A friend just completed a 91 day circuit of the Pacific with his wife, for their 50th anniversary. I haven't had the time to speak with him about it yet, but the pictures he sent from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, etc., were amazing.

Absolutely NOT... Because of having to be on their time clock...especially when you stop in a port of call and you are rushed to get back to the ship but you still had things to do or places to go see and are rushed to get back or you get left behind. ............In the 1970"s When we lived in 5 winters in Alaska witnessed numerious bus tours / camper van caravans /etc coming thru with tourist and having to keep up with timed scheludes. .........................................................drill sgt.

I've got the days, but not the grand.

Even with both, however, I still would not do it. Too long to spend on a ship - even a large ship with freedom to move about the decks, is still a confined space - and I get motion sickness bad. The "gearhead" in me wouldn't mind being given a tour of the engine room, however.

For 80k I could have Tons of ice and penguins delivered to my house.

I could easily afford it, but not only no, but Hell No!
