We should spring ahead, one minute every day for two months.

I skimmed through this entire thread and possibly missed it but:

WHY the resistance to eliminating time change? Who benefits from it?

I don't give a drizzly shit which standard we go with, just PICK ONE FFS!

I don't live in AZ but I like that they stay on MST year round. I'd be fine with this.

Try having young kids and now they will be out of wack for a week or two now. Happens like clockwork, twice a year now.

I hate the change as well but it sounds like we now have a disagreement on which time to keep around. That surprises me. I just assumed we mostly preferred light longer into the day, ala DST.

Another vote for ending Daylight Wasting Time.

I can adjust the clocks. Heck, some of them even set themselves.

I don't have a way to adjust the critters for feeding time.

I think critters adjust more easily than their people.

Or maybe that’s just because the dog doesn’t speak English. Razz

I hate that in these parts, it'll stay light until 10:30 - 11:00 at night. Even as a kid when my bedtime was 9-9:30 (broad daylight) I hated it. Still do.

Standard time and be done with it.

The ONLY good about this is Pippin is screaming for his dinner to be cooked and fed to him at 5:00 instead of 4:00.

Now He will be going nite nite at 8:30 instead of 7:30, leaving me with 6.5 hours of sleep.

Yay.

It's ONE HOUR guys! An hour either way is nothing.

If it is made year around it will be normalized and in a few years becomes irrelevant.

I like the extra light in the evening, but that's partly because I am not a morning person. But I'm retired so there's that.
