There is a lot of research that is showing the potential to be huge if it is able to successfully work on humans as well as it works on other animals. One lab recently figured out a way to induce a state of near hibernation in mice by using ultrasonic pulses to their brains. It’s still very early and hasn’t yet been proven to be possible in humans but the research is ongoing and very intriguing. If it works on humans what was once science fiction will become a real thing with interesting applications. The healthy dose of skepticism is IMO well earned given the behavior of our corporate media, especially their decisions on what to cover and how they cover it. A hearty Nay! Whether this drug proves out in clinical trials remains to be seen, as does what may be the response from the "health care" industry and Big Pharma, for which cancer treatment is a major profit center. Then there's the question of production costs, should it make it to market, and what the owner of the patents may wish to charge for it. Nonetheless: A potential cure for (many or most?) cancers is big news, regardless of what certain rando's on the Innerwebz may think. "America is at that awkward stage. Good to hear they caught it early, stickman. My wife battled breast cancer for 8 years before she passed. Our 2 kids were 8 and 10 at the time. I hate to see anyone go through that. Nay! What happens and can be duplicated in a labratory and replacated in a real life world are totaly different... A lot of these studies are figments of the developers projections just like survey poles showing who the favorite is... surveys can be manipulated.... But in reality hope there might be some truth in this discovery but will have to wait and see. ........................ drill sgt. This message has been edited. Last edited by: drill sgt,

One only needs recall how big pharma and the healthcare 'industry' operated in response to COVID to know a robust skepticism is warranted here! Thus clinical trials. Precisely. But, in the meantime, we can be hopeful, can we not? "America is at that awkward stage. Heartbreaking battle of girl who inspired 'holy grail' of cancer pills “When Anna Olivia Healey died of cancer at nine years old, her grieving parents vowed to honor their daughter's memory and help find a way to beat the cruel disease. Now, more than 20 years later, Steven and Barbara Healey's goal of sparing thousands of other families from the same heartbreak looks within reach. Scientists on Tuesday unveiled results of a 'cancer-killing pill' — named in honor of the little girl from Indiana — which appears to 'annihilate' all types of solid tumors tested in a lab. AOH1996, coined using Anna's initials and year of birth, seemingly left healthy cells unharmed, too. And while it’s not yet proven to work in humans, researchers from one of the leading cancer treatment and research hospitals, City of Hope in California, are very much encouraged by the preliminary findings. …” DailyMail article: https://mol.im/a/12363843 Serious about crackers

Well, I hope this turns out to be true as my younger bother, 71, was just diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. He was a smoker, but quit some 15 years ago, but...too late. My son, 53, has been smoking since high school and just won't quit. I pointed out that I lost my grandfather, my mother and now, probably, my brother to smoking, but it doesn't penetrate his thick skull. I am convinced that some families, maybe most, have some gene or something in them that will get them if they smoke, and, yes, I have heard of the old person who smoked till age 100+/-. But not in my family. Bob

Sounds promising. Hopefully, the phase one trial will show toxicity to be low and effectiveness high. Let's have hope until we hear otherwise. Nay. There is definitely solid science behind this, not just internet bullshit. Still early, but it does look hopeful. Doesn't mean it will pan out in the end. It's also not from one of those ads promising a cure if you listed all the way through their 25 min ad, then say the cure is to send me on $75 to buy this bottle of supplements and herbs.
