Upgrade to Win11
Not an option here. I'm still running W7Pro.

I tried to install on my LT which is a non critical platform for me, and got the error that boot was Secure Boot and I needed to change it. Okay fine I can do that but it goes on to say I'll need to reinstall windows. Screw that, it's a half a day project.

I am running Windows 11 on a Dell Inspiron 3670 and have had no issues. Updated from Windows 10 on October 22.

Is this going to be one of those gradual upgrades whether you want it or not like Win 10 did?

Rather doubt it, W10 had a LOT of backward compatibility, seems like a good chunk of the moderately old existing systems are not compatible with W11.

I accidentally "upgraded" and the first thing I noticed is I can't move the taskbar. I had it on top for a reason and apparently it can't be moved without editing the registry. I'll be finding the downgrade button now.

I discussed this with a friend who does a lot of IT work. He said to wait till they get the bugs out.
