Currently in production is Juror No. 2, said to be Eastwood's final film.
He's 93 and his first role was in Revenge of the Creature, uncredited. It appeared on the screen in 1955 but filming took place in 1954, meaning that Mister Eastwood is ending his career just a few months shy of 70 years.
When he goes, movies will never again be what they once were.
Yeah, an amazing career and a good man as far as I know.
God Bless him.

Got that right Para. Man's a legend in his own time.

He's done a lot of admirable acting over the many decades, certainly has cut a wide swath in TV and motion pictures.
Seems like he learns a lot from others and implements that knowledge .This message has been edited. Last edited by: bendable, November 29, 2023 04:49 AM

Clint Eastwood's character Harry Calahan was responsible for my life-long interest in the S&W 29-2, hence my forum handle "mod29".
Glad Clint is working on another film, even if it's his last one. He's had quite a run and had made some great films over the years.

I never miss Unforgiven when I can catch it commercial free. IMHO, his best film.

Yes a true legend. My first rememberances of him is from Rawhide. I have a stack of DVDs of his movies. There will never be another one like him.

Oh yeah, Rawhide was when I first watched him. So many great movies.

I’m as or even more impressed with his directing. I put him in the same class as Tarantino or Scorsese in that his movies have their own identifiable DNA. I’d give Clint the advantage as his movies are wildly diverse in their subject matter. Yet Hollywood continues to turn their back in regards to recognition. Something tells me Clint could give a rat’s ass.

Lot of respect for the guy and hitting 50 recently, one of my heroes. Someone asked him in an interview, how he is directing quality films (his last few, not so much), at 80. He said the old man is always there. He just chooses not to listen to him. Mad respect for this gentleman. His Director credits on IMDB, are just incredible. Look at that list of films. Just bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.

I went on a little Clint binge over the holiday weekend. Watched The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Magnum Force, Outlaw Josey Wales, and Unforgiven. So much fun.
Just watched Josey Wales on Grit tv last night. Watch Rawhide nearly every morning on ME tv. Clint will never be surpassed as an American icon. I read once Clint and Paul Brinegar (Wishbone) used to do a song and dance routine at county fairs for extra money when not filming Rawhide episodes.
I consider Flags Of Our Fathers and Letters From Iwo Jima his finest works.

For an Army vet, he played the part of an Air Force pilot pretty decently in "Tarantula!".

Always one of my Favorites and pray he goes on to make more. "Final Film" I won't accept, until it is.

Clint Eastwood has been at the top of my favorite actors list since first seeing the Dirty Harry movies when they came out as a kid.
Play Misty For Me is a great film that doesn't get a lot of press, and the spaghetti westerns are all classics, Heartbreak Ridge interesting how he works in a phrase for each movie that becomes quoted worldwide.

Are the films "Every Which Way but Loose" and "Any Which Way You Can" included?
They do have the quote aspect with "Right turn Clyde".
