Just moved and downsized. Have some excess furniture, rugs, and other misc HHG in used but good condition. Would like recommendations where we could donate to local org chapters in San Diego area.

We moved from San Antonio to Atlanta last year. We donated a lot to the Salvation Army before the move.

Donate to a charity that aligns with your values. Battered womens shelters, addiction recovery programs, 2nd chance after prision, churches, and any of many others would likely jave patrons in need.

Saint Vincent de Paul. They will pick up furniture. You can take a charitable tax deduction.

Salvation Army is a great organization, and will pick-up a large batch of furniture. They picked up my old bedroom set when I bought a new one.

Consider the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
San Diego chapter’s number is 800-423-2778.
Local number is 858-450-1443.

Not sure of their donation policies but a VERY good organization.
I’ve gotten bags from them to donate clothes so used “stuff” should be ok.
I bet they’ll do a pickup.
