Dice up one spud and boil until soft (not mushy). Dice up some ham and heat through. Place both on a plate, cover with grated cheddar and smother all three in sour cream. Sprinkle with a goodly amount of pepper and salt to taste. Enjoy!

You gotcher protein, yer fats, and yer carbs. What else do you need?

Still one of my favorite breakfasts:

Diced spud, chopped up bacon (as much as you like...half pound or so), half an onion diced, and a bunch of mushrooms chopped large. Toss it all in a cast iron skillet and fry it up until done...you'll know when.

Pan-seared steaks. Grab any cut that looks good, let it get room temp and season it with salt, pepper and garlic. Get a cast-iron pan gut-n-hot, throw a slab of butter in there with some fresh rosemary and sear it each side about 3-4 min depending on thickness. Let it sit for about 5 min while you toss some more butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and some vegatable of your choosing and sear it in the meat juices for a few minutes. Eat it all in a lake of ketchup.

Just kidding about the ketchup.

A grinder (regional term - aka Sub, Hoagie, Hero).

Just need some kind of meat(s), cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, hot sauce.

I really like a good sandwich and they're simple to make.
