what is one of your favorite easy foods to make
Mine is toast of almost any kind.
Every morning my wife leaves for work at 5:40 and I help her get her stuff in the car.
After she leaves I make myself some toast so I can take my vitamins.
Most mornings it is an English muffin with butter and a piece of cheese however every so often it is a slice of homemade bread. This morning it was French bread.
So what is your favorite?

Scones.

Flour, butter, soda, salt, sugar and cream, maybe raisins or chocolate chips.

Takes 5 minutes to assemble, 12 minutes to bake.

Ham, egg and cheese, fried in olive oil, on sourdough toast!

Instant Oatmeal.

Also, most days lunch is a ham and swiss toasted with butter on a griddle. Takes longer to dig everything out than to cook it.

Chipped beef on toast, but using hamburger. I put it over a small microwaved baked potato instead of toast. Baked vidalia onion cooked in a soup crock with a lid. Prepare the onion and add black pepper, heaping teaspoon of beef soup base and a pat of butter. Bake at 400 for an hour and eat with toasted French or sourdough bread.

Black beans and rice. 1 cup white rice, water, 1 can of Bush's black beans (drained), 1 link of Cajun Hollar Brand Smoked Andouille Sausage. Place into rice cooker, set timer for 1730 and we're done. I prep it several hours early and then just wait until supper time.

Quesadillas or a fried egg sammich. There's almost always some sort of leftover meat residing in the fridge to slip in for a little extra gnaw.

Just one? How about several?

Sausages (Italian, chorizo, plain pork) over rice. The rice can also be a rice mix, e.g., rice pilaf, Cajun-style dirty rice, red/black beans on rice, etc.

Spam (yes, Spam) sandwich, with or without a fried egg, sometimes with cheese

Scrambled egg taco, with or without hot sauce, on flour tortilla

Don't you mean "roads?"

Many of the items mentioned above are on my go to list, although there seems to be a wide variation in what folks find "easy." I'm in the buttered toast crowd, assuming I have good fresh bread in the house. Over two days old, no dice.

Instead of cereal, I prefer rice.

Bowl, add some leftover or prepared white rice. Warm in microwave.
Add cinnamon and your choice of sugar/sweetener.
Add milk.
Add, your choice, blueberries and/or strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, 1/4 sliced banana. A few raisins if you desire.
