I’m filing a vax exemption, it will be denied, I’ll get fired by my 20 year employer, and my outsource position has already said they’ll hire me directly.

My family is in a good place and our wonderful daughter is thriving in a Christian elementary, and we have amazing family and friends.

My life hasn’t ever been better.

Please include me in your generous karma, David. I’m thankful for SO many tangible and intangible blessings in my life...mainly my wife, my daughters, my grandchildren, my God, and my country. I’m thankful my family is healthy, happy, sheltered, clothed, and fed. We are truly blessed. God bless you and yours, David!

Please add me to your generous karma.

While life has definitely been challenging since Hurricane Ida to say the least, I am thankful to have weathered the storm, and that my home was strong and high enough to offer shelter to my neighbor and their three very young children. I'm thankful that I had the foresight to insist that we only buy a home with an elevation high enough to avoid the threat of our entire home flooding. I'm thankful that my wife and I had the discipline to live within our means and save a significant amount of money. That rainy day fund enabled us to float funds to get our recovery started beyond the nearly $15,000 deductible. I know of many folks who; after the hardships of COVID-19 lockdowns no longer have the funds to even cover their deductibles, much less float money to pay deposits to contractors.

It's still a long difficult road to recovery but I'm thankful that my faith, family, and my community will see it through.

Like so many others, I'm thankful for my family and health. I'm also thankful my wife and I were able to build a successful life thru hard work that is allowing us to enjoy a comfortable retirement. Here is hope that everyone else in this community is as blessed as we are.

I'm thankful that throughout the ridiculous pandemic mitigations, including lock-downs, I've been able to continue to go to work. From the mental side alone, I don't know what I would have done if I had to be confined to home. I'm sure I would have adapted but I hate to imagine it.

Thanks again for the opportunity of your karma.
