V-TailJews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership
Many of y'all are aware of this organization, that bills itself as "America's most aggressive civil rights organization."
For those of you who don't know about it, here is a link to their website:
http://jpfo.orgReminiscent of those old ads featuring black kids, older Asian men, Native Americans, Irish cops, etc. and proclaiming that "You don't have to be Jewish to enjoy Levy's rye bread," JPFO welcomes everybody to membership.

ersatzknarfThank you for posting this, my friend!
Looks like there's another group to add to the membership list in the signature

Speaking of signatures, like the one that you now have

You probably know where the inspiration for that came from.

SilentI’ve been a member for years. Aaron Zelman (the founder) was a great man. I appreciate its educational and fact-based approach to the issue of gun rights. I recommend reading their book comparing the 1938 NAZI gun control act with the U.S.1968 act; eye opening for sure.
If I’m not mistaken, today it is housed within the Second Amendment Foundation, another outstanding gun rights group.

darthfusterI believe 'Never again' only has teeth because of the 2nd amendment. I had not heard of that organization before. Thanks for making me aware.

TigerDoreA worthy successor to the NRA? Either way, it is definitely worth exploring.

EdmondThis is interesting. I believe I'll be joining. The silence of the NRA during the election was quite disappointing.
Things I've read about WLP make me not trust the organization. I've been an NRA member for many years and always saw them as the largest and most powerful group for us. But is that still true?

flashguyI have known about the JPFO for a long time. I never considered joining because I'm not Jewish. I applaud their stance, though.

Please don't let that stop you.
After all, Jesus was a Jew, even though He had a Puerto Rican name.

I first heard that line used by a musician friend of mine, as part of an introduction to a Christian gospel type song that he wrote, when he sang it at a Jewish Community Center.

Hence the reason I hand out Chanukah cards for Christmas.
