However, I have a relative who bought an online business that used paypal to process payments. Shortly after my relative began actively marketing and pricing competitively a competitor complained to PP that my relative’s business was violating their terms. My relative had no idea since they bought the business and kept using PP. PP reversed all credit card transactions (ie refunded the money) despite the fact my relative had already shipped. PP said tough shit. My relative sent letters to everyone he shipped to requesting them to pay with money order and had zero people send payment. Expensive lesson on PP’s policies and their business practices.
There has to be a ton of missing facts in this case, and it certainly is irrelevant to the OP. Other than fear mongering.

+1 (Looking...) PayPal's User Agreement does state: quote: 10.2 Actions by PayPal. If we have reason to believe that you have engaged in any Restricted Activities, we may take various actions to protect PayPal, a User, a third party, or you from Reversals, Chargebacks, Claims, fees, fines, penalties and any other liability. The actions we may take include but are not limited to the following: . . . d. We may reverse a payment (including, if appropriate, to the sender’s Funding Source), that violates our Acceptable Use Policy or section 9, or which we reasonably suspect of violating our Acceptable Use Policy or section 9; . . .
The stuff that's bolded, above, is bolded in their User Agreement. Ref: PayPal User Agreement: Your Liability - Actions We May Take

Nice try, but the OP is selling bullet molds and PayPal's prohibited activities state that you may not use the PayPal service for activities that: quote: 2. relate to transactions involving (a) narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety, (b) drug paraphernalia, (c) cigarettes, (d) items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, (e) stolen goods including digital and virtual goods, (f) the promotion of hate, violence, racial intolerance or the financial exploitation of a crime, (g) items that are considered obscene, (h) items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction, (i) certain sexually oriented materials or services, (j) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (k) certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law.
My relative was selling the identical item (not on the list I posted above) that the previous owner had sold for 2+ years, but according to my relative PP made an interpretation and did exactly what I posted. They could do the exact same thing (i.e. interpret bullet molds to be ammunition or accessory) to the OP that they did to my relative.

OK, you got me. What is a "dried velocity turd?"

Maybe you could be more mysterious and vague? That way we can all make a game of trying to guess what it was PayPal suddenly decided was in violation of their AUP/TOS. It'll be great fun! I'll start: My guess is your relative was selling graphically accurate sex toys?
